Oh heavenly Father, I am being attacked. Please help me. This is real, a war is raging against me and my soul. My only way to fight is to cry out. So I cry out to you, my God. Send legions of angels and your Holy Spirit to defend me. Right here, right now, you are all that is good. You are all that I need. You are my peace and security. Jesus, I trust you. Rise up, oh mighty Lord. Against all evil that is attacking me. Defend me now! For you are holy, you are truth, all righteousness and glory are yours and only yours. You have won the victory for me on the cross. You poured out your love for me, and rising up you showed your glory, power, and victory over all evil, sin, and death. Oh loving God! Oh merciful Lord! Free me, free me now! I give myself up to you. To your tender mercy. In your loving hands, in Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I give my fear to you. I have been crippled and poisoned by fear for too long. I reject it. I release it. I choose faith instead of fear, believing in your good plans for me. I choose love instead of fear, trusting that your “perfect love” will cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). I choose your light and truth instead of fear, accepting your Word which says I “need not fear terror that stalks in the night, the arrow that flies in the day, plague that strikes in the darkness, or calamity that destroys at noon,” because you are with me (Psalm 91:5-6).

Dear almighty Lord, it is just too much sometimes. Worry and fear crowd my life and my mind. So many struggles at once. What can I do God? Can you help me? The battle is on my mind; the enemy comes and whispers in my ear a lie that all is lost. Give me the strength, oh Lord, to reject the enemy. Let me look to Christ instead upon the cross for me, glorified at your right hand, sending me the power of his Holy Spirit. Let me stand up for myself and say “I can do this. I can face the giant down; I can defeat him, as the mighty hand of God goes before me.” May it glorify you, oh Lord, and may the angels in heaven sing praises at the sight of this sinner restored. Glory to God in the highest. In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Father, in this space of total anxiety, I’m praying to you, the God of all. Jesus, I need you so much. The weight of this world consumes my heart and my soul is confused. I know you are not the God of confusion; you are the God of order, love and peace. I pray you would restore order right now in me. May my mind perceive that you make me sound. May my soul receive that you give me strength. May my heart believe that you show me love. Thank you for the relief of an unburdened heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
